could travel to Sydney for an end-of-season friendly in June.
Jose Mourinho's men are 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League and can all
but sew up the title with a win over Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday.
The Blues boss had previously stated the club were in talks over a possible trip to Japan, after their final game of the season against Sunderland on May 24.
But according to the Sydney Morning Herald, Chelsea are now in negotiations over a friendly Down Under.
It is claimed a deal has been agreed in principle over a possible clash on June 2 at the 83,500 capacity ANZ Stadium, where Manchester United faced an A-League All Stars side in 2012.
Should the fixture be agreed, the Blues could well make the trip without several of their big name players.
Chelsea The date clashes with a string of international fixtures, including England's trip to the Aviva Stadium to face Ireland a matter of days later.
Chelsea's South American stars would also be doubts, including Brazilian trio Oscar, Ramires and Willian, with the Copa America due to get underway on June 11.
Sydney FC are due to face Tottenham at the same venue a week earlier, as part of Spurs' tour of Australia.
There is also controversy surrounding that trip, with boss Mauricio Pochettino suggesting Harry Kane would be involved - despite his likely involvement in the European Under-21 Championships.
